GM Says They Fixed One of the Most Frustrating Towing Issues on the 3.0 Duramax Diesel — But Some Owners May Have to Pay for the Update
GM has updated two service bulletins addressing a frustrating issue reported by 3.0 Duramax owners: DEF warnings appearing shortly after beginning a towing trip. The documents acknowledge the behavior and introduce a software update intended to correct how the system reports DEF levels on newer Silverado and Sierra trucks.
