This will be the location for a compilation of build dates that hav / have not had an engine failure. The purpose of this article is to give us some sort of timestamp as to when these engines / vehicles were actually built. 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe High Country build date 8/2025- 9743 miles. Total engine, turbo, oil cooler replacement due to Thrust Bearing Failure with 3.0 Duramax
We are pursuing the Lemon Law replacement of the vehicle.
2026 Trail boss, build date 11/25. 2200 miles, Towing approximately 4 thousand pounds past 300 miles. No issues.
2026 LT Trailboss, build date 11-21-25. PO6DD code. Complete engine replace. 230 miles. That's right, 230 miles.
2026 GMC AT4. Truck build date 9/25. 5200 miles and good so far. I checked crank end play twice and no problems.
Took my 2026 Tahoe to dealer for inspection and passed. The build date is 11/25 with 1,900 miles.
