LZ0 ECM Update Available ! Regen Fix?

A new ECM Calibration Update has just arrived. This update is available if you have one of these codes listed below, DO NOT GO TO YOUR DEALER just asking for an update. This update is meant to fix these particular codes, if you have been getting one or all, it is suggested to go see your local dealer to see if it applies to your truck.


#24-NA-094: LZ0 Engine Control Module Update - (May 30, 2024)


2024 Model Year only - Silverado / Sierra w/ 3.0 Duramax Diesel LZ0


The cause of the condition may be a software anomaly.

Technician may find DTCs:

  • P049D - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Position Not Learned

  • P11D5 - Nitrogen Oxides Sensor 2 Exceeded Minimum Learning Limit

  • P138C – Warm Catalyst Heating Combustion Mode Performance

  • P140C - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Slow Response - Decreasing Flow

  • P1428 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature Sensor and Intake Air Temperature 2 Sensor Correlation

  • P2002 - Particulate Filter Low Efficiency

  • P20FE - Reductant Injector Performance - Low Reductant Consumption

  • P2297 - Heated Oxygen Sensor Performance During Deceleration Fuel Cut-Off

  • P22FE - Nitrogen Oxides Sensor 2 Performance - Sensing Element

  • P22FB - Nitrogen Oxides Sensor Performance - Sensing Element

  • P2463 - Particulate Filter Soot Accumulation

  • P2459 - Particulate Filter Regeneration Frequency
